Dog Walking and Socializing

We are always in need of evening/weekend dog walkers and socializers! It is a great way to get your "dog fix" if you can't have your own. You'll learn a lot about dog behavior and help keep our rescues healthy and active! E-mail petrescue19@yahoo.com if interested.

Foster Homes

Why be a foster home

Fostering for Madison Mutts will be a wonderful experience for you and your family. Our philosophy is to match the right dog with the right family. We allow the foster parent to have the final say on the adoption of their foster dogs. The foster families complete the application reviews and talk to the references and the prospective adopter. This allows the foster parent to get a feel for the family. Since the foster home knows the dog, they can make the best decision on placement.

If you are too busy to have a full-time dog, but miss having a dog, this could be a great way for you to have the best of both worlds.

The average time a foster home usually keeps a dog is about 2 weeks. We also have other foster parents that can help out if you need to be out of town during a time that you have a dog. Please consider fostering for us - you decide when you have the time to take one of our foster dogs.

How to get started

Click here and complete the adoption applicaiton. On the application where it asks for the name of the dog, just type "FOSTER HOME". Review and approval of an application takes 2 - 3 days. If you have any questions please email us at petrescue19@yahoo.com.
