Madison Mutts Fair Trade Coffee and Tea

Madison Mutts has teamed up with Just Coffee Cooperative to become a part of their Group Partnership Fundraising Program! This program gives organizations such as ourselves the means to fundraise by selling awesome, organic, fair trade coffee and tea. And now Madison Mutts has our very own blends of coffee available for purchase at the training center!

We're offering three different blends:

• Madison Mutts Morning Mug - This is a light roasted fairtrade, organic, shade grown coffee from the Pagoa Growers Coop in San Martin De Pangoa, Peru. This is a bright coffee with a hint of citrus lingering.
• Good Dog Joe - This is a medium-dark roast coffee that produces a bold and very balanced cup with a slightly chocolatey finish. This coffe is from La FEM, an organization that features women’s coffee growing cooperatives in the region of Esteli’, Nicaragua.
• Dog Days Dark - This is a dark roast coffee from the AIPEP Co-op in Bolivia.

We also are offering some tea! Currently we have a delicious Orange Spice perfect for the cold weather. If we get enough requests, we'll certainly consider getting some different varieties!

Our coffee comes pre-ground and we're asking for a minimum donation of $10 per package for coffee, $5 a box for tea. All proceeds will go to the shelter and to changing the lives of our rescued dogs.

Make a Difference in 2010

Join us in saving a life this year. When join our network of foster homes for adoptable animals, you join our team of dedicated volunteers saving lives of homeless dogs. All of Madison Mutts' rescue dogs are fostered by people like you in real homes, where they get a chance to show off their true personalities in a normal living environment. Most of our dogs are in foster care only a few weeks, so even if you don't foster all the time, you could save more than ten lives this year. More pets are homeless than ever in these tough times. Madison Mutts is an all-breed dog rescue based in southern Wisconsin that supports animal rescue shelters throughout the upper Midwest. We take in dogs that, through no fault of their own, are sitting on "death row". We provide them a safe, nurturing home environment, any necessary medical care, emotional support and the training they need in order to find a new home.

After evaluation, the animals live in our homes until a match is made. The personal interaction provided by our foster homes, as well as exercise and evaluation with volunteers, vets and trainers, gives us the opportunity to know the unique personalities of each individual dog. This is a big advantage to adopters who want to provide a “forever home”.

We also help private owners to responsibly place their pets through listings on our website. Madison Mutts has an ongoing commitment to rescuing dogs and educating the community. We work to provide spay and neuter clinics as well as local awareness workshops. We are a non-profit organization and are thankful to all of our donators, volunteers and support staff, and most importantly, we are grateful to the people who visit this site and adopt our wonderful animals. You are the world to these dogs.
